FREE Boating Class
   

Why:

All operators of motorboats with 25 horsepower or greater motors born after January 1, 1982 must complete a boating safety course and have a boating safety certificate, as well as all operators of personal watercraft.

Who:

Class will be taught and administered by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission.

When:

The Pittsburgh Boat Show is offering a FREE Boating Safety education class. The class is eight hours long. The Boating Safety education class will be on Saturday, January 25th. Class will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and run until 5:00 p.m.

Where:

The class and exam will take place at the Monroeville Convention Center 101 Mall Blvd., Monroeville, PA, 15146.

Bonus:

Each student who completes the Saturday, January 26th class will receive a
ticket good for free admission to the Boat Show.

How:

To take the class, show up approximately fifteen minutes prior to the start
of class (8:45 a.m.) at the Monroeville Convention Center. Go to the front
entrance and you will be directed to the classroom.

Bring:

Bring a photo ID or proof of identification.
